What a night, and day.

Didn't do a blog yesterday as it was the Office Christmas Party, which I very much enjoyed.

I must say that I looked decent once I threw a few colours together.

I was fortunate enough to have the treatment slightly earlier on Wednesday, so I didn't have to rush to see the doctor afterwards. I was informed that the radiographers and my doctor had a meeting that morning to discuss my progress (I'm guessing that they have a weekly meeting), so as I go to see her (my doctor) she already has a prescription for me in regards to the excessive nausea feeling I was experiencing.

I must try to remember to tell her about the forever lack of circulation in my right hand. It's always so cold and I'm sure its a problem which is based in my shoulder, but now I think it's getting worse.

I now have to take steroids along with the other medications to keep the headaches and nausea at bay. I feel like I did when I came out of hospital 5 years ago and had so much medication to take. X for breakfast, X for lunch and a few more at dinnertime.
Oh the joy of being ill.

Today was a bad day. only because I was VERY tired from the party and the headache was magnified. There is a positive though. I did have a lot to eat last night and it is down to the few glasses of wine. I re-read in the 'Eating well while ......' book that a glass of wine can open you appetite. It did just that. I managed to have about 4 small bread rolls, a salmon starter, some soup (the taste wasn't for my pallet), 3/4 of my main,

which was a filo pastry with roasted veg and mash inside with a Pesto sauce. It was beautiful. I really couldn't stomach the Christmas pud and custard, so I opted for the fruit salad. Very cold and a bit sore on the corners of my mouth, but like I stated before, it's the biggest meal I have had in one sitting since treatment started. Yaaaa me.

Back to today. There was a bit of trouble putting on the frame, but once it was I did what I do best. I took a well deserved nap. Hmmmmm. I was out cold. I must say, it's one of the best naps I have had!

I do feel that the side of my scalp is starting to scab over. I cant see anything as its behind my ears, but I'm sure its nothing that Aloe Vera can't sort out.

I'm sure it will all be OK. There is no sight of any bald patches yet, I might just be able to keep the hair.
