It's All Over

Today was my last day,

and what a day it was.

I left the office at 12.15, the time I usually leave, planning to go, have a nap, lay on the bed, have another nap, see the nurse, then come back to work.
Instead, I had my nap in the waiting room. Had my treatment and napped again. I then went to see the nurse, who thought i needed more medication as the anti-sickness tablets are not doing their job.
I also had to book my follow up appointments, so I had to go the the 4th floor to book my MRI appointment, which I have to get back to in 3 months. There was no appointments, and I then had to go to the 1st floor to meet up with the nurse to get the prescriptions.
I then had to go to the ground floor to put in my prescription only to be told that they JUST had had a power cut.

What was I supposed to do for 40-45 minutes?
Then went to the canteen to have something to eat, which was very bland, which is great for me,

Hmmm Lamb and rice

Left it a while and by the time I got to the pharmacy, my medication was ready.

Got back into the office 3.55. What a way to end my treatment. So tomorrow, our department are having our "Christmas Lunch/ Congratulation on finishing me treatment" Lunch.
Im so looking forward to that.

I have lost the colour in my right hand. I think it is dead. (well, I know its not, otherwise I would be writing this) The tips are FREEZING. Oh please, If someone can find the scientific name for CHAPS, I'll be happy. The nurse did say that I may have somnolence syndrome. I think she is right.

My uncle said that going bald will be like walking down the street NAKED, in winter. I'll get back to you on that one.

30 sessions have been completed. As this chapter comes to a close, I look back and thank God for bringing me thorough this journey.
Thank you all for your support, love and care during these pass 6 1/2 weeks.

This is just the beginning.
Much Love
