So it has taken me just under 2 months to have the energy to write on my blog.
.....
Why so long?
Well......
I have been taking this new medication for my back pain called Tramadol, which is for my back pain. So far it had been mildly effective, and I'm just awaiting for the doctor to see what other medication can be supplied.
I have had so much compliments on my short hair, that I really dont want to grow it back. My barber want to do some fancy hairstyles when it gets to a certain length. I want to play around with colouring it.
My eating habit had reduced to such a small amount, that the weight is dropping off me. I don't look unhealthy, but you can notice the difference from last year.
I still don't fancy foods such as onions, spicy foods or oily food. That could be the key to the weight dropping off
I dont know when I will be back to update you all, but it should be before Christmas.
Unless NOTHING happens, but Im sure that wouldn't be the case, my life is and adventure remember.
xxxx
Oh, Today is my birthday, and I give God thanks for allowing me to see another year, especially after the hectic 12 months I have been through.

LONG WHILE
It had been a while since i have updated this blog, but there is nothing much to report.
I shall be having my MRI scan in the next few weeks, but the doctor already said that they might not be able to see a difference.
I love having no hair. It is so easy. just wash, grease and go!
I think I will always suffer from nausea. The 'old' eating habits still haven't returned yet.
I shall keep you all updated when there is a change.
But until then. stay safe.

Shouldn't thing be getting better?
Since I came out of hospital a few weeks ago, I have been doing plenty of resting and really taking it easy, but of late, I have noticed that the nausea sensation as returned.
Although my eating habit has stayed the same, and I haven't really been eating a lot.
My quite a few people have commented on the weight lost, although when I step on the scales, I have actually gained, so who knows.
I just find it really queasy, and i end up feeling dizzy when I turn my head. Even when I'm not moving around. Last night was really bad, When I kept my head straight and just moved my eyes, I had a indescribable sensation down my spine. It reminded me of before I was diagnosed with my tumour.
I just hope this isn't something serious. Well, it isn't normal, so I just hope and pray it's really not bad.

Time to really think about life....
Apologies for the lack of tapping, it's been a hectic few weeks, AGAIN.
I have had the chance to sit back and really think about what my body has been through over the pass 6 years. It's a lot. My body is still being affected from the radiotherapy, therefore my eating habits STILL haven't come back and all I fancy is ice-cream and anything cold. Well, not all the time, the other day it was Fish and Chips, and they were yummy.
Bald patches are still there and I don't think they will start to grow back for another 6-8 weeks. I cant wait for it to be all one level, although it might not be all one texture, or even colour.
Although the weather is getting slightly warmer, my hands and feet are still cold.
Apparently, the skin in my head is starting to look more burnt, although I cant see it myself without several different mirrors.
What an emotional roller coaster.

What a week......
So last week Saturday I woke up with the most ridiculous headache and carried on as usual as I had things to do and ended up having a great day out with MG, and I didn't spend a penny although we were in Ikea, and they did have some lovely bits.
Sunday woke up with the same headache and didn't leave the house, but I did tell myself that if the pain was still there by the Monday morning, that I would have no choice but to head off to A&E. Fortunately, the headache did subside and everything was back to normal.
Tuesday morning, it was back, but this time with back pain of excessive force. It was awful; I felt awful and looked awful. My uncle was able to give me a lift to the same hospital where I had my initial operation 5 1/2 years ago (I thought it would make sense to go there as they have my book, sorry, I mean notes) and I must admit, I did feel silly going up to the counter saying that I have a headache and back pain, but I knew how I felt, and it wasn't good.
So I see the nurse and she then tells me that the either a neuro-doctor will see me or a doctor from A&E, but due to my history, they have to be careful. Approximately, half an hour later, I’m in a spare room/ward as there was no more space in MAJORS and I’m being told that I will be going for a CT scan in the next 30-40 minutes.
So much for me feeling silly???
Nothing was found in the scan and they really don't know what t do. I looked too good to have meningitis, and they were really lost, and needed to do a lumber puncture to see if there was any bleeding on the brain. This had to be done the next day, and in the morning, I was anxious as I had a LP before. Remember my post when I said I feel as if I am pregnant?
Well a LP is the equivalent of an epidural!
So after the painful procedure, I get a wonderful visit from a few people, including my sister and her mum, who just so happens to mention that I should be good as if there was something to worry about, then I would be on antibiotics, if they thought it was anything bad like meningitis. Low and behold, the nurse comes in and says that I need to be on antibiotics.
I wasn't impressed, and after a question round with the nurse, she says it’s a precautionary measure as they haven got my results back from the LP. Everything was all clear and it was still confusing as I was still having my headaches and no one knew what was wrong. Until they came to the conclusion that it could be all of the codeine that I have been taking for my headaches.
So after 2 nights in the hospital, I still left with a headache, milder that the night that I went in, but a headache none the less. Been given more medication and was told if it get worse, that I should come back in.
I still have the headaches, but on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the pain I was in over the weekend and the night I went to A&E, it's currently at 3. not bad, but I bet your head is feeling like 0.
Oh, the adventure. How boring would my life be otherwise?
Feeling pain is a sign that your body is telling your brain that there is something wrong. Thank God that I am able to feel pain.

What a madness.
It has been a crazy few days. I have been suffering with the most nastiest headaches. Thank God they have subsided now, but it reminded me of the headaches I used to get before my operation.
The whole of my frontal lobe was aching since I woke up yesterday morning. Today it moved to the right hand side of my brain. I'm glad it's gone, but if I wake up with it tomorrow, I will be heading to the doctors.
Still there is no change with my SN. Taking a bath still feels weird and people can't believe how cold my hand really gets!
My hair is growing back faster than last week and my eating pattern and habits are all over the place.
Talking about eating, I fancy some ice-cream.
Always look at the positives in life's ups and downs.

Things are supposed to be getting better..... are they not?
Well they are not, i'm sure they are getting worse, and I now have to get more medication from the doctor as i'm feeling so nauseous. But I dont want to be taking any more tablets.
It's been 3 weeks, since my last radiotherapy session. My skin is feeling good, my hair hasn't started to grow back yet, but that's expected. Decided to go for another skin-off yesterday, and I think it make my patch look great.

If you look carefully, you can see the indentation from the treatment.
I have been getting so many compliments from my pictures since cutting my hair, I'm looking forward to the different colours I can do with it once its grown back fully.

I still have frozen hands and feet, the only problem now is that the coldness is resting on my knee and travelling up my thigh. It is such a pain, literally. Back ache is getting worse too. It does have something to do with the weather. I think I need a holiday in the sun for a few weeks. I'm sure that would help with my sympathetic nerves.
I dont have the metal mouth sensation, but I have been craving odd foods still. I dont fancy lunch at work, so I tend to snack throughout the day. I guess eating small portions is better than not having anything at all.
Slow and steady wins the race.
