New Years Eve, Eve!!!

It was my 2nd day on the table and no nap. Woke up late this morning, and was practally rushing to get to the hospital, which isn't a good thing.

Haven't really eaten much today, but I am just putting it down to the treatment really taking its tole on my body.
Showed my extended family my bald patch, and I could see that they were shocked at the amount of hair loss and how clean the scalp looks. Im not discouraged thought and they have all given me positive words of wisdom to keep me going. Mum P said that there was slight difference to my forehead and behind my ear. The same ear I took the picture of yesterday. She also told me that there is hair loss behind my other ear.
And to think I wasnt expecting hair to fall out from that side for another few days.

Saw my school friend in Asda and it was a pleasure to see her. She also encouraged me and told me I was looking good.

Craving of the day
Chicken and Ice Lollies.

Wonder what in earth my last meal of 09 will be???

So as I look into leaving 2009 with all the excitement of learning about my tumour growing back, having to go throught radiotherapy, haveing the joys of being pregnant, without being pregnant.

1st day back on the table

After a wonderful 4 days off, I was back on the table, and it was a strange experience. It was like the first day at school.
I am actually quite tired, considering I usually go back to work after treatment, I am on my Christmas break so I took my sister out for her 12th Birthday, to watch Avatar in 3D.
(fantastic film by the way)
I managed to doze off in the middle of the film, but still managed to catch up.

I have noticed more hair loss, and difference in my forehead. There is also an itchy sensation  behind my left ear. I think there will be hair loss within the next 3 days.
Ha, Kayne West has nothing on me when it comes to crazy hair styles.

29/12/09

I know you cant see anything yet, but like I said, give it 3 days.

My aunt saw my hair and noticed that there was a big difference since last week. I could see that she wanted to cry, but I smiled through it and told her that Im fine with the 'balding' look. told her that when I shave it all off, I wont have to worry about my hair in the mornings on my way to work.
My sisters now think that my 'new' hair will be of a straighter texture, so I can still have my afro, but with a fringe.

I managed to have my nap and zone out for a while, and the baked beans and scrambled eggs came back to haunt me in a craving (thanks MG)
So that was my brunch.

a nice bit of toast and cheese. Finished in 6 minuets.

Didn't have any dinner, I really dont fancy anything to eat. There is only so much Ice cream can do.

My previous conditions before the radiotherapy have been getting worse. My hands and feet feels like Ice, especially as its so cold outside. I think I should look for my gloves, dont know where they are. Headaches are starting to get worse, but on a positive note, I haven't been feeling any numbness. Also Im not needing my glasses when Im in front of the computer screen. Yay!

My hat collection grows and the search for a funky wig is on.
Not too funky mind. I've had a suggestion to go for a pink one.
Work would probably love it to, its part of P&D colours.
